Kitchen floor area, Manchester.

The existing vinyl floor covering had failed and was removed.

The floor was cleaned and prepared, coved skirtings installed in Metflex and the floor totally resurfaced with Metflex to produce a seamless slip resistant hard wearing surface. Suitable for a busy kitchen area.

Royal Mail Sorting Centre, Croydon

The existing steel loading bay had become polished and slippery over time the clients need was to provide a hard wearing slip resistant surface in the shortest possible time frame.

During the course of a Saturday the deck was cleaned and prepared by blast track machine and Metflex CA SL flooring system applied at 2m thickness encapsulating quartz aggregate to provide slip resistance. The surface was finished in dark grey with a yellow demarcation band.

Works were completed in one operation lasting approximately 7 hours with the loading area returned to full service immediately upon completion of works.

Royal Mail Platform, Bristol

Because of the hard-wearing slip resistant characteristics of the Metflex 120 Royal Mail specified the product to surface their brand new rail platform to prevent skidding of tugs towing lading pallet cages.

The system was applied in double quick time enabling tight work programmes to be achieved.
