The long lasting resistance to abrasive wear or chemical degradation makes Metflex ideal for sealing and protective applications such as chemical tanks, containment areas, industrial flooring, car parks, transport terminals, sports stadiums, bridges… the list goes on. But Metflex is also non-toxic, which makes it an excellent, eco-friendly choice for ponds, waterways, swimming pools, storage tanks, and any other environmentally sensitive locations.

One of the major advantages of Metflex is its fast curing properties – touch dry in as little as a minute and capable of handling traffic in under five minutes. It means an industrial flooring system can be applied and back in use in just hours. A storage tank can be emptied, cleaned, Metflex-lined and back in use within the day. Big savings on down-time makes for big cost savings and much less inconvenience or hassle. Coupled with its high adhesion properties, it means Metflex can be applied to virtually any surface – vertical and overhead – to give an even coating with no drips or sags. It can even be used to bond particle-based substrates such as sand or fine gravels.

Ongoing development on texturing and aesthetics means we can now provide almost any surface finish to suit the application and in virtually any choice of colourings. Metflex coatings can be as thin or thick as required. Surfacing finishing can be as smooth or as slip-resistant as needed or anything in between. We can provide moulded surfaces including tactile tiling systems for use in public thoroughfares or specialist trafficking areas. Colour variations can be selected to differentiate between different areas – for example hazardous and non-hazardous – or provide traffic markings or match corporate logos. We’ve even had a request for colouring to complement tropical fish.
